DEVELOPMENT OF WATER POWER.
(Received 13, 11.20 a.m.) London, Aug. 12. The 'Water Power Committee in its preliminary report finds that excepting Canada and New Zealand, also to a lesser extent New South Wales and Tasmania, no systematic attempt to ascertain the water power possibilities has been made. The Committee recommends the Imperial Advisory Board to assist in the Development thereof.— <A. and N.Z.)
