HAVELOCK NORTH.

At St. Columbia’s Presbyterian Church, yesterday, the morning service was taken by Mr. Kersley, and in the evening by Mr. Varney, members of the Y.M.C.A. Conference. Both speakers were listened to with great eagerness in giving their account of the grand work the Y.M. C.A. has done and are doing amongst our boys the the front. Both speakers went to great pains to explain the very vital relations between the Y.M.C.A., and tne Christian Church, and that the Y.M.C.A. is a child of the church and is doing its social work.
