SATURDAY’S MATCHES. Two interesting games of football were played at McLean Park, Napier, on Saturday afternoon, when the Kaiti-City fifteen from Gisborne tried conclusions with Pirates 111. The play was most exciting at times, and alter a keen struggle the visitors won by six points to five. The other game was between M.A..C. and A. 5.0.8., the former winning by three points to nil. In the third grade, the game between High School and Hastings resulted in a draw, neither side scoring. In the fourth grade. Pirates beat Ma-rist Bros. Old Boys by six points to nil, and Technical College bent Star by six points to nil.
