[to the editor. 1 1 Sir, —I have to-day received (per Mr. Waugh) the sum of Till 2/1.1, proceeds of Havelock North Shop Day, held on 3rd inst., lor our Christmas Parcel Fund. ■On behalf of the men for whom we have the honour to work my committee and workers. I wish to tender my sincerest thanks to the people of Havelock and all who helped them with their fine shop day. 1 wish to especially thank the promoters and .stall holders, to congratulate them ou the very satisfactory result of their exertions and to assure them that we very much appreciate then- assistance and co-operation.
