Thompson Bros., Ltd., report on the .Wellington fruit and produce market as follows: —Recent rates for all ‘stone fruits remain unchanged. An excellent demand exists for choice samples. Tomatoes are more plentiful 'and values have receded. All vegetables are plentiful, with low prices obtaining. The following prices are ruling: Pears.—Choice Hawke’s Bay W.B.C. 5/6 to 7/6, Jargonelle 3/- to 4/- per half-case. Nectarines, 4/6 to 6/6 per half-case. / Peaches.—Choice desserts 5/9 to 6/6, others 4/- to 5/-, cooking varieties 4/to 5/- per half-ease. Apricots.—Large to 9/-, other grades 5/- to 6/-,_ over-ripe 3/6 to 4/6 per halfcase; Teviots, 12/- to 15/- per bushel. Black Currants.—. Reason now practically finished.
