£216 FOR LOSS OF AN EYE.
Wellington^-June 19. In the Arbitration case, Rudolph Hirter versus AV. Cable and Co., claim for compensation for loss oi an eye as the result of an accident on the 2nd October, 1914, whilo plaintiff was employed in defendants’ foundry’, judgment was entered by consent for £216 15/-. The Court ordered £175 to be paid to the Public Trustee and invested on the plaintiff’s behalf until he attained the age of 21.
