1.0.0. F. The fortnightly meeting of the 1.0.0. F.. Karamu Lodge, No. L. was held last night. N.G. Bro Smith presided over a large atten dance of members. . Members of the Star of Napier Lodge were present and performed the ceremony of installing the newly elected officers for the ensung term Bro. Latimer, of the visiting Lodge conferred the different degrees on the following members of the Kara mu Lodge: Bros. Brenchley, George. Purdew. McGruer, Potts, Taylor, and McKay. The next business was the installation of officers for the current year, when the following members were duly installed by the D.P.G.M. : N.G., Bro. A. Cook; V.G., Bro. Brenchley; secretary, Bro. Chadwick; Rec. Sec., Bro. A. C. Potts ; treasurer, Bro. Schlitzkus. R.S., N.G., Bro. F. Casey; S.N.G-, Bro. Taylor; Conducter, Bro. S. Russell; Warden, Bro. C. Berge; R.S., V.G., Bro. McGruer: L.S.. V.G.. Bro. McKay ; Chaplain, Bro. B Kessell; R.S.S., Bro. A. Purdew; L.S.S., Bro. A. George ; LG.. Bro. C. Campbell. . . . At the conclusion of the initiation, ceremony the rest of the evening was devoted to songs and music, the usual toasts being enthusiastically honoured.
