The “Herald” states that everymember of the new State Opposition is called upon by the Political Labour League to hand in his uh. dated resignation, to be used in the event of their taking up an attitude which appears to be a breach of the Labour platform or principles. (Received 17, 11.20 a.m.) Sydney, Nov. 17. The Labour Council carried a motion requesting the withdrawal of all delegates of all unions who were conscriptionists. THE WOMEN’S VOICE. A Women’s National Party is being formed to secure/the co-opera-tion of women to promote the national welfare and obtain adequate political and municipal representation.
