CASUALTIES.
SUICIDE BY HANGING. Christchurch, Nov.. 4. Alexander Stratchan, 47, single, was found dead hanging in.his brother’s woolshed near Rakaia. Deceased, who belonged to Otago, was the youngest son of the late Air. Stratchan, a well-known farmer. He was in Rakaia on. a few days’ holiday.
