——— Mr. J. B. Clarkson is due to arrive in Hastings to-night. Mrs. Hewitt (Wairarapa) anti Mrs. Hartgill (Dannevirke) are visiting Napier. Mr. and Mrs. Taitham, of Taupo, arrived in Napier yesterday on a visit. Mrs. Cowper and Mrs. Bates, of Dannevirke, have arrived in Napier on a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Barthop, of Taupo, arrived in Napier by car yesterday, on a visit. I Misses Ferguson and Gleeson, of Wellington, passed through Napier yesterday to Taupo and Rotorua, I ‘‘Mr. C. Nathan, of Waikare, returned home to-day, after a short visit to Napier. Mrs. J. S. Jessop, of Wairoa, left Napier by the mail train to-day on a visit South. | Mrs. C. Gracev of the staff of i the Public Trust Office at Napier,: left Napier by this afternoon’s train on a visit to "Auckland prior for his; departure for camp with the 23rd Reinforcements. The Monowai will sail from Auckland to-day at 7 p.m., with the following passengers for Napier:— j Misses Morton, Walding, Mackay ; Mesdames Walding, Day, Swinnock Benge ; Messrs Taafe and Pearce.
