(V> aiyawa Correspondent). The Waipawa Tennis Club oper.cJ their season on Wednesday afternoon at xvhich there was a large attendance, including visitors from neighbouring clubs. The weather was threatening in the morning l.ut the rain kept off, and as the courts were in splendid ’order a pleasant afternoon was spent. Afternoon tea was dispensed by the lady members of the Club.
