RICCARTON TRACK NOTES. Christchurch, Noy. 3. The weather is fine for training at Riccarton. Mullingar beat John Barleycorn, Montant and Rorke’s Drift in that order at the end ot nine furlongs, the last mile in 1.43. Ringfor ir-and Lociogem ran seven furlongs in 1.31 2-5. Ardenthor beat Mordant over the same distance in the sam etime. Snub was given steady pacing, finishing half a mile in 50 1-5. Marc Anthony had a similar task. The other Cup horses did only easy work. A large number of others were out, mstly at - a steady pace. Elyneliss went half a irile in 50sec. and a few others were given short sprints. STEADY PACING AT ELLERSLIE. Auckland, Nov. 3. The work at Ellerslie this morning was principally confined to steady pacing. Salvia went half a mile inside on the grass in 51. Kitty Bellairs ran three furlongs on the same track in 37sec. Bonnie Jean jumped big fences in good style.
