EXECUTIVE MEETING. The executive of the March Gras met last evening. The following decisions were arrived at: — To devote the net proceeds to the establishment of a maternity ward in Napier. * To hold a baby show. To include a programme of motor events. It was reported that: — Five companies for the Pierrot and Costume Comedy Concert Co’s competition. The Napier City and Dannevirke Bands had entered for the quickstep competition, and other bands were expected to compete. That juvenile events would form one of the attractive features of the Mardi Gras. That entries are rolling m for the procession. The meeting was enthusiastic and determined that the coming event should eclipse previous years.
