Miss Maddison, lion, secretary of the Hastings Red Cross Workers, supplies the . following figures in connection with the recent Red Cross Day inaugurated for the purpose of raising funds for the supply of comforts for the sick and wounded in Mesopotamia. The effort lias been most satisfactory and thanks are due to the many' willing workers who gave their services on that day and to those who so generously subscribed to the fund.
