The following Hawke’s Bay men and their next-of-kin are on the hospital report issued last evening:— REMOVED FROM SERIOUSLY ILL LIST. (Walton on Thames Hospital.) Lance-Corp. Henry John Evans (H. G. Evans, Makaretu, H. 8., .father). SOME PERSONAL NOTES. Lance-Corporal G. A. Widdowson, recently reported missing, now reported killed in action, is a cousin of Mr. R. Bestall, of Napier. Another brother of Lance-Corporal Widdowson’s was reported missing early in the war and nothing has been heard of him since. Corporal H. B. Widerstrom, son of Mr. G. Widerstrom, Napier, who was wounded on September 15th. is now in Walton-on-Thaines Hospital and progressing favourably. Lieutenant AV. H. Jones, late of the Napier Main School staff, has been reported wounded.
