RICCARTON TRACK NOTES.

Christchurch, Oct. 28. The weather was fine for training at Riccarton, and most of the work was clone outside the course proper. Greenstreet beat Thames over six furlongs in Imin 20 l-ssec. Good Hope beat San Sebastian across seven furlongs in Imin 32 4-ssec. Ogier and Riga ran a mile in 1.46. Sedd el-Bahr went a mile on the plough in 1.45. Daytime beat Thestius over five furlongs in 1.4. Panmure and Chortle did half a furlong in 49 3-ssec. Art and Banian completed ten furlongs on the plough in 2min 16 2-ssec; Scrub was going comfortably at the end of a mile and a-half with Wardaneer in 2 min 41 4-ssec. Fiery Cross ran the same journey with two companions in 2rnin 41 3-ssec. but was going best at the finish. Disdainful left ten furlongs behind in 2min 13 l-ssec. Findhorn and Margarine ran six furlongs down the straight in 1.171. Marabout beat Spot on a working mile and aquarter in 2.19. Madam Butterflv went a mile in 1.47. Accliffe and Malvolia covered five furlongs in linin 4 3-ssec. Flying Start and Mattie ran half a furlong in 48 4-ssec. Gamecock ran the same distance at full speed in 49 1-5 see, and Kilrea in 49 3-ssec. Bore went a mile in Imin 48 2-ssec. Kilmeny did the same distance in 1.50. Comely and Week-end did six furlongs on tho plough in Imin 18 2-ssec. Immortelle and Biplane went a good half distance down the straight. Lingerie going easily with Tyne did similar work. A large number of others were given easy* work.

Rorkes Drift, Martel, Ringfonn, Killena and Kilboyne arrived from the south last night. Kitty Bellairs has been scratched for all engagements at this meeting.
