CELEBRATIONS AT NAPIER CON VEN T.

Tuesday. October 2 lib, being the golden jubilee of the Profession of Rev. Mother Mary St. Ignatius of tire Order of Notre Dame ties Missions, celebrations in recognition of her great attainment were held at Napier Convent. High Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Eat her Ainsworth in the Convent Chapel, the music of the Mass i being beautifully rendered by the I Sisters and children. The rev. jpreacher delivered a most approIpriate sermon, congratulating the ; venerable jubilarian on her length of years and merit and on having I received the greatest honour a (Christian could receive, viz., the Papal Blessing conveyed through Arenbisitop Cerretti, the Apostolic I Delegate. j In the afternoon a most enjoyable 'entertainment was given by the pupil's of the Convent .Schools. There * was a large gathering of parents, friends and old pupils of the Sisters, and they as well as the children were treated to afternoon tea by the Sisters in the Convent grounds.
