The inquest touching the death of Edward '.'.lman, who died by a wound in the throat on Monday. 19th inst., was concluded at the Napier Courthouse yesterday afternoon, before Mr. S. E. McCarthy, coroner. . Thomas Farrell, cook on the Kintona. said that he knew deceased, having lived with him at the bach for two weeks before his boat left, on 1 Sunday-, 18th inst. He had gone to the bach at middav, to co.lect a few articles, and to bid Allman good-bye. Deceased seemed a litt.e worried but when questioned, said it was on account of losing his mate.
