Private AV. Webb, of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, who returned to New Zealand by the Willochra, and who has since been in the Wellington City hospital, will arrive back in Hastings by Monday evening’s express. Tommy Hosee, an elderly Chinaman, was to-day charged in the Dunedin Police Court, with having opium in his possession. Mr. Bartholomew, S.M., fined the accused £5O which he paid on flie spot.— Press Association. The Y.M.C.A. mens’ meeting will be. held in the Association’s rooms, to-morrow, Sunday, at 4 p.m. The General Secretary will be the speaker. He will give the second of the series of Great lines talks and will deal with Robert. Bunny of America.
