The Chambers of Commerce Association elected Mr. James Mac Intosh (Wellington /president, and Messrs. IL Burns (Auckland) ami F. Gibson (Christchurch) vice-presi dents. The conference decided to urge the I Governmnt to introduce legislation cancelling contracts made with subjects of enemy countries.
