A very pleasing function took place at the Piccadilly tea rooms yesterday, when the executive of the Y.M.C.A. entertained Captain AlcKibbin. formerly a member ot the board anti chairman of the physical department, to lunch. B. -Broeklchurst united in matrimony, Air. Frederick S, Thomas, son of Mr. and Airs. A. Tliomas, of Christchurch, and Miss Lucy Sneaile, alto of Christchurch. Hawkins, Ontram road. The happy couple received hearty congratulations from a wide, circle of friends, and were the. recipients of many valuable presents.
