The annual meeting of subscribers to the Norsewood Library was held in the reading room. Dr. J. O. \ eitch presiding. « The annual report and balancesheet were read and adopted. 1 lie latter showed a credit balance of Ll 2 6.
The secretary and treasurer Mr. L. Simpson) resigned on account of his going into camp at an early date, hat ing oflered’ his services fur the front. The resignation was accepted with regret, and the meeting- placed on record its appreciation of the cxcellelit services Mr. Simpson had given the* library committee during his term <>f office. | Dr. Veitch was re-elected presi- ■ dent and Mr. P. G. Grant was appointed secretary and treasurer. A large committee was also formed, anti the meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
