WANGANUI SPRING MEETING. Wanganui, Sept. 24. The weather is fine for the opening of the Wanganui Jockey Club’s spring meeting. The attendance is satisfactory and the track in good order. Results :— Flying Handicap.—Grattan 1, Mummer 2. Sunbird 3. All started. Won bv two lengths. Time, Imin 13 4-snec. Maiden. —Blackall 1. Rerehau 2, Improve 3.
