<lh.ti Correspondent.) The annual general meeting of the Otane Cricket Club was held on Tuesday night. Mr. G. McKay in the chair. Tile report and balance-sheet, which showed a debit balance, were adopted. Mr. G. Hunter, 3.1. P.. was re-elected president, and several influential gentlemen were elected vice-presidents. In ord ’!■ to encourage the game, it yas decided tn admit the senior schoolboys as members of the club on payni> ::t cf I -. Mr. P. J. Sefton promising a trophy value £1 I to the boy makmost progress during tho season. The annual subvrintion was fixed at o -. and Messrs. (’. Clifford. H. Eaven anti J. W. Barnes were elected captain. v:ce-captain and secretary respectively. It was dvid- d to onen the season on Wednesday, the 30th im t.. with a match. Married v. Single.
