KING ALBERT S ESCAPE
KIDNAPPING CHAl’FFEUR SHOT.
(Received 23, 9.0 a.m.) London, Sept. 22. Lille newspapers state that King Albert had a •harrow escape during a tour of inspection. The chauffeur made towards the German lines, and the King ordered him to stop, but he continued at full speed. King Albert then shot him. A document was found in his pocket offering 1.000,006 francs'Tor the King.
