HAWKE’S BAY JOCKEY CLUB.

AUTUMN MEETING. FINAL GALLOPS. A large number of spectators were present to watch the final garlops on the Hastings tracks this morning. , Most of the operations were confined to sprints and slow work. The morning was dull ana the going on the heavy side. Chakwana and Want went live furlongs together in 1.6 1-5., the latter being in front at the finish. Microbe sprinted three furlongs in 40secs. • ■ Amical did useful work. Okahu encompassed a round m 2min. ssecs. Pariform and Bertrada got over six furlongs in 1. 18j, the colt being in front at the finish. Kooya sprinted half a mile m 53sees. • Sir Knox and Rigo Park were companions in a gallop of five furlongs, the distance being left behind in linin 6secs, Sir Kpvx easily accounting for his companion. Ladoga, assisted by Princess Moutoa over the last three furlongs, covered six furlongs in 1,18 4-5, the Cup horse moving very well. , Downham, Ringform and Quebhlike finished in the order mentioned at the end of four furlongs, the former beating his companions m 53| secs. Hujakia recorded 55A secs for a sprint over four furlongs. The hurdle racer went very attractively. Golden Water did work once round.

Sir Solo and a companion went slowly for a round finishing fast. Arlington was not after time records in a gallop over five furlongs. Despatch Carrier sprinted. Expect moved attractively over a useful round. Ariom and Braebum ran a strong mile. Vi sprinted. Darby Paul and Flingot gave a good exhibition over a tew hurdles. Peacemaker's task was a circuit at a good strong pace. Settler and Mysterium sprinted. Kimbombi did useful work. The Summit went once round at half pace. Mysteriarch and Indigo sprinted a few furlongs. Sea Pink, with several sweaters on, completed a circuit in 2min Isec, the Cup horse moving and finishing well. Rising Sun was not seen to auvantage over the battens, his display bing very indifferent. Football and Dame Rumour sprinted half a mile, finishing together in 53secs. Postillion got to the end of six furlongs in Imin. Wsecs., moving well. Papalitz and Waiputere were allotted slow work over a couple of rounds. Ermengarde did serviceable work as did Bodenham Byron and others. Sir Alba was not extended during a circuit. Red Book brushed along over a few furlongs. Sanguinary’s task was of a similar nature. Merry Roe, Bleriot. Fair Rosamond, Mouton Girl, Crocus, Espartero, the members of Hickey’s string, also J. Munn’s and others were restricted to slow work. R.
