Wanganui, Feb. 21. The weather was fine for training operations this morning. Allegation and Brunswick ran five furlongs, the former finishing six lengths ahead, in Imin. 4sec. Canute and Square Deal went once round slowly, and then picked up Tiresome over another circle, the last six furlongs occupying Imin. 19 sec., the' Cup favourite being two lengths behind the other pair. Aruake and Sweet Van ran five furlongs in -Imin.- 4sec., Emperador and Becontre taking a second less over the same journey. St. Gate beat Euroco easily over the hurdles. Sir Solo went two rounds on the plough- slowly. Historiette, Otahu, His Eminence. Bingham, and several ethers did useful work. Bandier did long slow work. .
