, THE. NEW 4-H.P. TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLE. x

No. motor cycle ever introduced to the New Zealand iqarket Kas lever met with such a favourable reeeptjon-as the new 4h.p. Triumph. *. _ The new machine marks a. very considerable advance over the 1913 model, and amongst other improvements may be mentioned the curved frame, giving a low, comfortable, saddle position; the semi-automatic . drip-feed lubricating system; the petrol sump fitted in the tank to drain the tank to the carburetter p the new*pattern compre&ion tap ; the. extra crank-case air release, which prevents oil oozing on to the outside; the spring snap, oil veht, fitted crank case; larger Storings in the steering head stronger fork crown axle, for side* car Work ; improved carrier, more rigid fork ends, and shorter and stiffer cranks. In addition to these features, there is the decompressor which facilitates easy starting, and the StnrmeyArcher three-speed gear with patented Triumph control. These distinct features, unique and valuable though they are, are scarcely so important as the improvement in running' effected by the new and more powerfuTengine. For ease of starting, flexibility; response to control, and pulling capacity oh the hills this engine is quite unsurpassed, and the many purchasers of the new 1914 4h.p. Triumphs are quite charmed with their new mounts. The increase of power, while giving a big reserve for side-car work, has not effected the economy for which the Triumph, is famous, nor has it impaired any of those qualities which have .made the Triumph such an ideal solo machine. We can still give immediate delivery of the 1914 models, but, as our present stock is fast dwindling under the big demand, prospective customers should place their orders as as possible.
