Gisborne, June 27. j The finals af the amateur boxing championships were got off to night with the following results : — Bantam.—Davis (Gisborne) boat Kutncr (Auckland) on points. Feather weight.—H. Ireland (Wai pawa) beat Adair (Gisborne). Light weight.—lV. Ireland (Wai pawa) beat Frure (Gisborne). ' Middle-weight.—Poesy (Gisborne) beat Cate (Gisborne). Heavyweight.—McQuarrie (Southland) beat Kelts (Auckland) in one round.
