[PER PRE>S ASSOCIATION'. J Palmerston N.. June 5. Althcaigh no official informal ion has been received it is reported that the Indrabarah lias been towed off into deep water. Mr. Simpson. of Heaton Park. Bulls, states that lie has watched the vessel through a field glass since yesterday morning’s spring tide, and he says she has shifted seawards at least a quarter of a mile from tier old position. The steamer is now in water deep enough to allow a v< ssel. presumably the Terawhiii .to come alongside. This information is considered very r< liable. SALVAGE GEAR. Wellington, June •!. The Manuka, which arrived from Sydney this morning, brought gear to be used in refloating the Indra barah. The gear includes, a long length of wire hawser, which is now being spliced on to a mushroom an chor weighing over six tons, made tn Wellington. The Terawhiti left this evening for the Indrabarah. She carries over 500 fathoms of four inch cable, a six ton anchor, and other gear for salvage work.

The weather is suitable for salvage work and the pospects for refloating the vessel are very favourable. The vessel has shifted senward ’250 fathoms, and is now in 17 feet of water and moving seaward steadily.
