These two officials are, in my opinio:), the chief builders of a town. 1 need say little of myself, as 1 have lived in your midst for twelve years, and have associated myself with a goodly number of citizens while in business in the- town. Acts amending the same, and IN THE MATTER of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act 19<f8 ” and th? Acts amending the same, and “ LN THE .MATTER of all other Acts in anywise enabling. IVOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Havelock North Town Board proposes to borrow by Special Loan the sum of £19,425 for the following purposes, the amount applicable to each such purpose being set opposite the statement of each such purpose respectively:— 1. To construct, insial and carry out a sewage system throughout the Havelock North Town District, including the acquisition of any lands, buildings and plant that may be necessary.. £9875 2. To supply the said Town District with a high-pressure water supply, including the acquisition 7 of any land, buildings and plant that may i o necessary £5925 3. To supply the said Town District with an electric light and power installation, including the acquisition of any land and < buildings and plant that may be necessary £3625 ALSO for the purpose of securing and providing for the repayment of the said sum of £ 19,425 on the First Day of August. 1919. and securing and providing for tlic interest in connection with the said loan, and a sinking fund of not iess titan ton shillings per £lOO sterling per annum as a further provision for the repayment <>i' the said money. the Board proposes io make and levy a Special Rato of 23 in the £1 on the capital value of all rateable property n th© said district.
