WAIPUKURAU STOCK SALE. The weekly stock sale was held at Waipukurau on Tuesday before a fair attendance of those interested. There was a medium entry of tat cattle and a small yarding of stores. Buyers were keen up to a certain limit for fats, but store cattle were neglected. Following was the range of prices:—Fat bullocks £8 17 - to £9/17 G, fat heifers medium £6. fat cows (plain) up to £6/19/6 (good quality). A large yarding of fat sheep, consisting principally of ewes and lambs, was placed before the usual local operators, the following prices being realised : —Fat ewes 13, 9 to 18/11, fat maiden ewes 19 5, fat wethers 19-1 to 23 7. fat woolly lambs 13 5 to 16 2, fat shorn lambs 12 - to 14 -.
