WAIPUKURAU STOCK SALE. The weekly stock sale was held at Waipukurau on Tuesday before a fair attendance of those interested. There was a medium entry of tat cattle and a small yarding of stores. Buyers were keen up to a certain limit for fats, but store cattle were neglected. Following was the range of prices:—Fat bullocks £8 17 - to £9/17 G, fat heifers medium £6. fat cows (plain) up to £6/19/6 (good quality). A large yarding of fat sheep, consisting principally of ewes and lambs, was placed before the usual local operators, the following prices being realised : —Fat ewes 13, 9 to 18/11, fat maiden ewes 19 5, fat wethers 19-1 to 23 7. fat woolly lambs 13 5 to 16 2, fat shorn lambs 12 - to 14 -. Store sheep were in small supply, and the demand was limited to the following prices:—Two-tooth cull empty ewes 10 3, shorn lambs 7 1 to 7 11, forward lambs 9 6 to 9 7. z The -New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co..
