The concert was in evmy way a success and all the - performers were greeted with applau-te. Songs were rendered by Misses ivy Edhn. Moan:’. Taylor, Dort-, Crcpp and Messrs. J. Flanagan and D. Greany. Recitation were given by Miss Nellie Downing. Mis- M. Lind, while Messrs. M. H. Absclum ar.u T. Fletcher contributed <-om:f itemc An instrumental quartette was giivn by the Napier Citv Band ami a vocal one by the .-hvir quarotte pa»*ty-. Mr. J. M. Coe’s contribution of a ventriloquial interlude amt sketches of beauty spot- -»f New Ze* al .ml in coloured chalks were m ich appreciated. The ehurci: vh_> r a!->> rendered a grand opening cl’.orm-.
