HAWKE’S BAY PRESBYTERY.
The Hawke’s Bar Presbytery met m St. Andrew's H>'i. Hastings, yesterday. when there were present . Revs. F. Tucker > Modi rater). J. A. Asher (clerk). A. Grunt. R. Waugh, ami W. McDonald. The Rev. J. Patterson. of Welington. was asso ciated with the Presbytery. Commissions were received in favour of Mcs.-ts JI. McLeod (Cis borne) and Adam Wilson (Taradnle). The Rev. R. Waugh submitted a unanimous call from the Maraeknk.tho congregation t«> the Rev. W. R. Hutchinson, probationer. —The Rev. J. Paterson, who has been in charge of Maraekakaho for several months, was heard in support <;f the call.---The Presbytery sustained the call, and a h ttcr was read from Rev. W. R. Hutchinson intimating his acceptance. —It was agreed that Mr. Hutchinson's ordination and induction should take place at Maraekakaho on Wednesday. January Bth. the Rev.
