N.S.W. FARMERS’ ASSOCIATION
OPPOSED TO LAND POLICY. (Received 16, 9.15 a.m.) Sydney, July 16. The annual conference of the Farmers’ and Settlers’ Association’s report showed that there was a strong inter-State fund being formed to fight the claims of the Rural Workers’ Union. The president in his address said the association was opposed to Government’s land policy. They had no intention of being the tail of any party either Labour or Liberal ; if they were to be any pv.rt of the dog, it would be its head.
