SUDDEN DEATH. Wellington. July 15. At the inquest to-day on John Mee, aged 63. who died suddenly at the house of his sister late on Satur-l day night, a verdict from hemorrhage of the lungs was returned. > CHILD MISSING. ! Christchurch. July 16. The five-year-old son of .Mr. C. : Smith, builder, has been missing’ since Friday afternoon. The police i have been dragging the river, but : without result. i YOUNG MAN DROWNED. Auckland. July 16. j A young man named George CrouP was drowned in the Kirikiri river close to his home. The boat capsized 200 yards from the shore. The accident was witnessed by several people. Croul sank before help could reach him. His dead l.totly was recovered later on.
