MAHORA SCHOOL.
Mr. Whittington, chairman of the Education Board, accompanied by Mr. <,eo. Roach, a member, and Mr. Biillaid. the board's architect and tarilding ins[)f*<-tor. met the following members of the Mahora School committee tliis morning at Mahora :- Messrs. Robertson (chairman). Grant. Webb. Stn< kham and Parker. ;<nd Mr. f’hapltn. headmaster. The question of building the con venienres at the school in either brick or concrete instead of wood was fully discussed. Mr. Robertson pointed out the extia sanitary conditions that would prevail if the buildings wore of brick or concrete. He i!*o touched <m the lasting proper ties of such buildings. Toe members of the board favour a'olv -onsidered the proposal and promised to bring the matter up at ;he next meeting. They asked th” committee to strengthen their hand* l>y guaraiitcr-ing part of the cost, whic li is estimated at about £7o.
