Alice Maud Wong Lee. wife of deceased, gave evidence that her hu«baud was a native of Canton (China) and was about s(> years of I age. H'- returned home from Clive j about 6.15 on Monday evening, and after lulling tea. went r > o<-<i. Shortly after lie commenced cough- | ing. Went to see what was the mat- ! ter. and deceased said lie was chok--1 ing. and had pains in his stomach. Telephoned for Dr. Wilson, but her I husband died before the doctor ar-
rived. IL M. 'Wilson, medical practitioner, deposed that he saw deceased about *8.30 p.m. on Monday. Had performed a post mortem examination and found inflammation of the pericardium or outer liningof the heart, with some fluid. Death I was due to pericarditis, aggravated I by a distended stomach pressing on the heart.
