DR. MAWSON’S EXPEDITION.

Sir E. H. Shackleton paid a generous tribute to Dr. Douglas Mawson in connection with Antarctic exploration, and added that Australasia gave the first official help to the 1907 expedition. He hoped the Home Country would not be behind in showing sympathy with the Australian expedition.
