A WISH FULFILLED.

N.Z., I hail rheumatic fever very seriously and it left left me with my kidneys in a veiy bad condition. Ever since then, I sniftered dreadfully from pain in my back. If I bent down, straightening myself caused me the greatest agony. I could only sleep for an hour or 'wo every night. No sooner did I manage to fail asleep than I was awakened by the agonising pain. My occupation, being that of an tlecti'ie-tram driver, was nut of a nature to promote rny recovery as I was constantly exposed to draughts. My doctor said I had Bright's disease and advised me to take a. sea trip. I came to Melbourne and obtained employment with a well known owner of racehorses.
