This tendency does not prevent the British Cabinet from realising the gravity of the international situation and taking measures to assure Britain’s safety. "Le Siecle ’’ adds that public opinion would not waver if the. Governments of England, FranceJ and Russia had shown clearly that the policy of the triple entente, really exists.
