Baker, arrived from Auckland at 7 a.m. on Friday, and steamed for Auckland at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, with 58 head cattle, and 328 sheep. The A.S.POo.'a Pretty Jane arrived from Poverty Bay aiid Auckland on Saturday morning aud returned the same afternoon. The schooner Opotiki sailed for Poverty Bay on Saturday afternoon, with a full Cargo aud several passengers. She will return in a day or two with a cargo of timber. The schooner Queen sailed for Auckland via the coast on Saturday morning. The schooner Florinda sailed for Melbourne in ballast on Saturday. The s.s. Fairy steamed for Wairoayesterday morning. The s.s. Result was to leave for Wairoa at 10 o'clock Inst evening, with a full cargo. The brigantine Helen had arrived at Newcastle from Napier on the i)th inst. The s.s. Wonga Wonga arrived at Auckland on the 19th December, having left Sydney on the 12th. The s.s. Albion arrived at the Bluff from Melbourne, at daylight on the 19th inst.; with the English mail, having left Melbourne at 2.30 p.m. on the 13th instant. She brings 40 saloon and 30 steerage passengers, and -1(10 tons of cargo for all ports.

A Fatal Collision occurred between the two Australian ships Candahar and Kingsbridge ou the 15th October off the Lizard. The latter vessel sunk in three minutes, carrying down the captain, his wife, and daughter, and eight of the seamen ; the rest of the crew managed to board the Candahar.
