s?he s.s. Napier, <Oapt. Bendall, arrived in port at 8 o'clock last night. She left Napier at 630 p.m. on Mondav last, 26th inst. Experienced fresh head winds, and arrived at Turanganui at § am. on Tuesday. Landed passengers, and cargo of stock and merchandise in good order j and left again at 9 p.m. ihe same day for Open Bay, with Major Bopata on board, who proceeded there for the purpose of procuring 100 Ngatiporou natives. Arrived offMatahu at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, look on bparc} a number of natives, and propeeded tp Waipavi to pick up Major Porter and another party of natives. Left for Turanganui at 6 p.m; the same day, with strong southerly wind and thick weather; arrived pff Turanganui at 2 a.m. on Thursday, and hover-to until daylight, when she anchored under Young Nick's Jflead j at 1Q a.m. crossed Turanganui bar j landed natives, and received pn board cargo and passengers fqr Napier. Left Turanganui at 11 p.m., and arrived at ■yifangawehi at 3 a.m. on Friday : shipped 40 bales wool, and left at noon, arriving here as above.--Weather permitting, the Napier w}U proceed to Wwqa on Monday next. The e.s. Lord Captain Andrews, tjrrived in porf; at 4.30 this morning, from (j?ai;rauga and Auckland, after a very boister; pus passage, during the' course of which had $9 geek shelter in Hicks/ Bay. Th.e schooner SUucy Lass sailed for Lyttel|gn |n ballafjj; this afternoon.

The brig Maggie entered the Iron Pot this afternoon. The steamer Keera is at present undergoing a thorough overhaul at Auckland, preparatory to her yearly inspection.
