NOTICE is hereby given that the firing for the above named prizes by the Napier Militia and Volunteers will take place on the dates and at the places hereinunder specified : Nos. 1,2 and 3 Companies of Militia and the Napier Rifle Volunteers and Mounted Rifles will fire at Napier on 16th May, Nos. 4 and 5 Companies of Militia will fire near Pukekura on 16th May. Nos. 6 and 7 Companies of Militia, and the Waipawa and Porangahaii Mounted Rifles will fire at 1 Waipawamate on 16th May. E. WITHERS, Capt. and Adjutant.

IVTOTTCE IS HEREBY GIVEN that all those _LI persons resident in the town of Napier, liable to serre in the NAPIER MILITIA, viz., all persons between the ages of 16 and 55, who have not yet enrolled themselves, are required so to do at this office, on or before the 10th day of May next. Persona living in the Country districts who have not yet enrolled themselves are required to do so before the Captains of their respective companies within one Month from this date.
