ADDINGTON MARKET. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. At the Addington market to-day the entry was moderate in all classes, but the attendance of buyers was good. Fat Cattle. —132 were yarded, and •prices rose fully Is 6d per 1001b. Steers £7 17s fid to £lO 10s, and a few extra prime £ll to £ls, prime heifers £8 10s to £ll 12s fid. others £6 12s fid to £8 ss, cows £6 2s 6cl to £lO 2s fid (equal to 27s 6d per 1001b for extra prime, 24s to 25s for prime, and 21s to 23s for inferior). Fat Sheep.—The supply was small, •comprising mainly crossbred and halfibred wethers. Competition was keen, ;and prices improved, chiefly owing to to extra quality of the sheep.
