MR COLLAN SUCCESSFUL. LONDON, April 10. At the Alexandra Park races the We'ter Handicap resulted: —Mr S. H. Gollan’s Australian Star 1, Pitch Battle 2, Gilbert Orme 3. GLADSOME’S PERFORMANCE. SYDNEY, Monday. The “Daily Telegraph” says that Gladsome’s display in the A.J.C. Plate was terribly disappointing. She ran without any of the fire shown in her previous races, and staying does not appear to be one of her strong points.
