THE DISCOVERY.
(Received April 10, ,9.14 a.m.) LONDON, April 9. Sir Clements Markham declares that the results of the Discovery Antarctic expedition are magnificent, and fully double what the Royal Geographical Society expected. The impressions of fossil plants which were found, are alone worth the whole expedition, as proving that a warmer climate once prevailed in the far south.
