HUTT RAILWAY.
[press association.] WELLINGTON, Saturday. Speaking at the opening of the Hutt bridge, the Premier said he hoped the next function there would be the turning of the first sod of the new straight railway line between Hutt and Wellington. It was owing to the dilatoriness of the draughtsmen who had the plans in hand that the sod had not been turned months ago.
