. NOMINATIONS, WEIGHTS, AND ACCEPTANCES. Nominations for all Handicaps on both days close with the Secretary, at Waipawa, at 8 p.m., on SATURDAY, 19tb December, 1903. Weights fcr first day's races will be declared on or about MONDAY, 4th January, 1904. Acceptances for all Handicap Events and Entries for Race No. 1 on the first day close with the Secretary, at Waipawa, at 8 p.m., on MONDAY, li January, 1904, Weights for second day's races will be declared on TUESDAY. 19th January, night of first day’s races, at 8 p.m. Acceptances for all Handicap Events and Entries for Races 5 and 7 on second day will close with the Secretary, at 9 p.m., on TUESDAY, 19th January. Telegraph Office at Waipawa closes at 5 p.m.

ETTLES AND GENERAL CONDITIONS. No entry will l>e received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections shall be determined by the provisions of Bole 118 of the “ Bales of Racing.** In all nominations, descriptions, age, pedigree, and performances of the horses and the colours of the riders mnst be given. The winner of any flat race, after the declaration of weights, to carry a pen* ally of 101b. Metropolitan “Boles of Racing" will be strictly adhered to. HACK DEFINITION.

No horse shall he eligible to start In a " hack” race which won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value of 200 sovs, at time of nomination. The amount won by any horse in flat races, hurdle races, or steeple chases respectively shall not render such horse ineligible, except in the special class of race in which it has won such amount. 0.
