HASTINGS.
Manawstn defeated Hawke’s Bay by 4 goals to 3 in a friendly game of polo at Stortford Lodge yesterday. The New Zealand polo tournament will be held at Stortford Lodge on the 26th March. The members of the Hawke’s Bay Mounted Rifles, now in camp, were exeroised in attack and retire drill yesterday moraing.—OwH Correspondent.
